Joanna Howells' studio porcelain is made at Tythegston Pottery in Glamorgan, South Wales, UK. The village of Tythegston lies about halfway between Cardiff and Swansea and is just 5 minutes' drive from Junction 37 of the M4 motorway.

Tythegston Pottery is now up and running as a training venue for aspiring potters. 'Adopt a Potter' apprentice Simona Stollo will be training and working at the pottery in 2014 and 2015. The tableware and garden pots are made to my designs and mostly by me with assistance from students.

Pots can be bought direct from the Pottery or via this website. Just click Tythegston Pottery on the menu bar.
